Flitter and Flutter at CD Sunday

Hello and sorry I'm late!  It's my turn to choose the challenge theme for CD Sunday and I forgot! Can you believe it, I couldn't but carried on and got my card finished.
I've used the Twiggy and Toots cd from Polkadoodles but decided to cut the toppers in a different way. Normally when we cut the toppers they line up in the middle of the image but I wanted something different.
I used a Spellbinders die and cut the layers at an angle so the image although whole is stepped. I have done this as a flat image for postage reasons but if you weren't posting it could raised with foam pads.

I'm entering this into the following challenges
Come and Get it - Cute Cards
Scrappy Hands - Animals
That Craft Place - Lots of Layers

Frame it! with Polkadoodles

Good morning it's time for a bit of inspiration with a card for the Frame It! challenge over at Polkadoodles.

I used a pre-coloured image from the serenity collection and backing paper from the same collection, I used two sue Wilson dies for my frame I think they are the Italian Collection but can't be sure as I store them on magnetic sheets.

I hope you can come over and join us and have a look at the beautiful creations made by my team mates.

Tag it! - Digi Choosday

Good morning all, I'm here with a new make for my GD spot on Digi Choosday. This time they want us to Tag it! so I made a tag and put it onto a card, I have been trying to use something other than square cards so this one is 5x6.5 inches which is a bit of a strange size but they arrived pre-scored so I've used it.  The backing paper is from Twiggy and Toots and the image is Serenity Resting which is available as part of a collection or on it's own as a digi.
The sentiment is also from the collection but you can get those as a set too. I used both pencils and Graph'it pens to do the colouring and a bit of glitter on her wings, the flowers were from Wild Orchid and the dies are Tattered Lace.

Challenges entered
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes
Love to Scrap - Anything Goes
Sparkle and Sprinkle - Anything Goes, use loose glitter, embossing powder and/or flocking.

Four Legs and a Tail at CD Sunday

Good morning all, it's time for another challenge at CD Sunday and this time it's Four Legs and a Tail.  This is a great choice from Carol as it can be so many things and you can use your stamps and digi's or anything you may have as long as something on your creation comes from a cd.

For my card I've used another cd from Polkadoodles, this time Work and Play 10 - Country Life, but instead of using the ready made toppers or the main images I decided to use a single digi of a kitten.
This is the great thing about Polkadoodles cd's we get the coloured toppers, black and white to colour ourselves and on top of that we get digi's to incorporate within the scene or use on it's own as I have done.
I have used a Memory Box die to cut the fancy circle, this is yet another die I had to have and then not really used but I like the effect so it will now be on my list until I get fed up of it.

I'm entering this into the following challenges
Seize The Birthday - Birthday Project
Sister Act - Challenge #110 Anything Goes
Simply Papercraft - Anything Goes
Art by Miran - Anything Goes
Digi Designs - Use a Die cut

Father's Day/Male themed with Polkadoodles

Well I'm a bit late with this post so sorry for that, today I am bringing you a bit of inspiration for the current challenge over at Polkadoodles.

We have challenged you to do something for Fathers Day or if like me you no longer have a dad to make anything for then a male theme is fine.

For my card I've used an older collection from Polkadoodles and it's called Pretty Tough, it's a fairly simple card but I have cut the bits out to make the young chap sit on the step.
I hope you can come over and join us and have a look at the rest of the teams makes, you are bound to be inspired.
