Tic Tac Toe with Polkadoodles

Good morning, it's a new challenge over at Polkadoodles and this week it's Tic Tac Toe.  I couldn't make my mind up at first which three things to use but when I started playing it all just fell into place.

This is the grid I worked from and my choice was Sentiment, Lace and Flower, I used all left over things from previous projects and even the card base is made from the off cut of another card with the same fold. The topper is from one of the design sheets which I popped onto a circular mat which I had added a bit of distress ink to while it was still in the die. The papers usually end up being put away, getting creased and then thrown away so I decided to use them and even the very small pieces were used to cut out the flowers, the lace is an off cut from a piece bought from Brenda on Facebook and is small enough to fit in with the size of the card which is only 90cm x 140cm.

I am entering this into the following challenges;
Scrappers Delight - Anything Goes
Art by Miran - Anything Goes
Crafty Gals Corner - Anything Goes
Ike's World Challenges - Going in Circles

Lucky Green at Polkadoodles

Hello all you Friday people, it's my turn to do an inspiration post for the current Lucky Green challenge over at Polkadoodles.

There is a new collection out at the minute called Sticks and Bones and it's great so there are lots of fab palm trees and dinosaurs  etc but I decided to go with a slightly older collection which is one of my favourites Twiggy and Toots.

I used the background papers from the new collection but the main image is from Twiggy,  I used some green lace which I bought from Brenda on Facebook, I buy quite a bit from her and almost have enough to stock a shop!

Pop over to the challenge blog and see what else the team have done, they will give you lots of inspiration.

Woolly Mammoth

Good morning, we've got sunshine at last and what a pleasant change it makes. I've managed to get a bit of time in my craft room and have been playing with the new collection from Polkadoodles - Sticks and Bones.

In the collection are several scenes to use as backgrounds so I took one into Craft Artist and had a play, I added people and several dinosaurs, rocks and hidden away at the bottom so you have to have hold of the card to see a turtle or two.
I am entering this into the following challenges:
Crafting with Dragonflies - anything goes
Hiding in my Craft Room - No Pinks or Reds
Scrappers Delights - anything goes

Sticks and Bones

I'm sharing a little something made with the Sticks and bones Collection from Polkadoodles, this collection is full of fun stuff and lots of dinosaurs and cave people but I've chosen one of the animals for my card today.

I found the backing paper and it fits so well with the cat that I just couldn't leave it, I used some plain black card as my backing as I do think it makes the colours pop off the page and I wanted something suitable for a guy. I think we always seem to gravitate to the pretty things and find them so easy but we do have to think about the men sometimes!
I cut all the bits and pieces out with the print and cut feature on my Cameo and the circular mat is cut with one of the pin dot circle dies from Tattered Lace.

I am entering this into the following challenges:
